Got my chest lights today. Shipped very fast and packed well. The lenses are expensive, but worth it--they MAKE the Robot! Dennis was great to work with, together we searched for LED lamps for the chest lights. In the end I made my own LED lamps. They are pretty bright and cool to the touch. Excellent communications and very fast shipping. Value is relative; this simplifies drilling and marking holes, but is it worth the cost?
For a one time use item I think it is a little pricey. I got it on "sale" for Christmas at half price which I consider a much better value.

Oversized cathodes, well gettered, Examination with a polariscope shows very low stress in the glass indicating they are well annealed.
I am a former scientific glassblower who worked a number of years for a xenon flashtube manufacturer.
